Case Study: New Street Square Campus, London

When Deloitte consolidated its business operations by bringing all its London based people onto a single “campus” at Land Securities’ striking New Street Square development,they appointed Trench Farrow to Project Manage the fit-out.

Trench Farrow was appointed as project managers for the fit out of the new offices and also carried out due diligence and agreement to lease negotiations for the new premises. Having assisted Deloitte to pre-let space in New Street Square, Trench Farrow established a strong design team to work closely with the client to develop the fit-out proposals.

New Street Square creates an impact. Rising boldly and innovatively it comprises a quartet of contemporary buildings, each with its own distinctive character and drawn together by a series of walkways. Sustainability has been central to the design of the development with the holistic concept of social, economic and environmental sustainability guiding many of the key decisions. The result is a high profile, high tech, highly visible new prestigious office complex.

Key Facts

The general office floors include a mix of open plan and cellular workspace. Offices are provided at a ratio of 1:7 staff.

A separate secure, Corporate Finance office zone has also been provided together with Staff and Client training facilities.

The IT systems in the building are backed up by resilient power supplies.

The design of the auditorium and the adjacent meeting areas allows these to be used for Disaster Recovery (all seats incorporating power and IT connections).
